DesignPresentation Associates, Inc. today announced that
it has joined the select group of companies in the document creation
industry that have achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification. DesignPresentation
is a leading provider of raster to vector conversion services (AutoCAD,
CAD drafting, Microstation/GIS mapping, logo designing, graphic design)
and desktop publishing services (word processing, typing, data entry,
database). DesignPresentation was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification
from KPMG, a quality registrar.
ISO 9001:2000, released in December 2000, is an internationally recognized quality management system standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). ISO 9001:2000 is process-based and enables organizations to link business objectives directly with business effectiveness.
"Since our inception, Design Presentation has been committed to its customers and our high quality services", stated Lisa Ginyard, Design Presentation's Customer Service Manager. "Achieving certification by KPMG demonstrates that our focus remains on quality, world-class performance, and continuously improving our service operations. Our world class systems, audited by KPMG, ensure that we deliver on the promises we make to our customers, employees, and channel partners."

DesignPresentation began its registration process in September 2004. As part of the certification process, KPMG conducted on-site assessments and evaluated DesignPresentation's systems and procedures. To confirm continued compliance with ISO 9001:2000, KPMG will periodically conduct surveillance audits of DesignPresentation's service operations.
