B. Swinney is currently an independent CAD consultant, a role he has performed since 2008. He was previously an architectural project manager with Tompkins Barron PLLC, an architectural design firm based in the United States, from 1996 to 2008. He performed design activities for the company and managed a team of designers (focusing on AutoCAD). He was responsible for over 50% of the projects. He started his career as a CAD Draftsman at McCarty Architects from 1990 to 1995, and worked directly with the companys consultants, including architects and engineers. He received an AAS in Computer Aided Design and Drafting from Northeast College and attended Mississippi State School of Architecture. He holds a residential and commercial construction license in the state of Mississippi.
