J. Stensland is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Geography with an emphasis in Urban and Regional Studies. Justin has been in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning field for almost 10 years and has worked on projects in the US, Costa Rica, Panama, London, Korea, Shanghai, Doha, and the United Arab Emirates. Prior has served as a Planner and Project Manager on numerous international projects, and has worked on several large scale master planning efforts. He has extensive experience in land planning using GIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D to provide detailed land analyses, based on topography and geographical surveys, that lead to more strategic land use and project feasibility assessments, as well as more precise and comprehensive overall planning efforts. Justin has also authored best practice and training materials for his team to ensure that the tools available are being implemented accordingly. His ability to prioritize various site limitations, anticipate necessary approvals that are required, assess potential impacts to schedules, and determine cost estimates makes him a valuable resource for his clients.
ConnectD. Colley is a CAD Designer and an AIDT certified Pipe Fitter, with extensive experience in architectural, civil, electrical and piping designs. He works with multiple materials including plastic, wood, metal, glass, cement, ceramic, fiber, leather and paper, and prepares drawings and topographical and relief maps used in civil engineering projects, such as highways, bridges, pipelines, flood control projects, and water and sewerage control systems. He also provides the following services:
M. Gross has many years of experience in drafting electrical systems, including a substantial number of mechanical and structural design projects. He has a multi-disciplined background and appreciation of all aspects in the design, certification, qualification, and installation process. Most recent projects have been within the aerospace industry for EASA Part 21J DOA, integrating various aircraft electrical and mechanical systems. Design experience includes aircraft structures, composite Interiors and seating, specification and report documentation. Project responsibilities consist of avionic CVE, mechanical design, installation support, function and qualification testing, including verification of ground and flight-tests.
All projects have produced approved installations and documentation in accordance with EASA, CAA, FAA or Airbus standards, with avionic equipment designed to EUROCAE ED-14 / RTCA DO160 and ABD0100 qualification standards. Previous projects have also included overseas assignments in the USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia and Europe. The aerospace projects have all included creation of supporting documentation for the modification, declaration of compliance, accomplishment ins-tructions, continued airworthiness, equipment assessment and Part 21G inspection documents.
ConnectA. Kovacevic is currently an independent CAD consultant. He has been involved in chassis design (construction of chassis and load-bearing in the same grid) and configuration of drive-train systems (developing the morphology of drive-train systems), for which he has been using CATIA software. He has extensive experience in finding creative ways to exchange CAD data via FTP server, harmonize data according to German standards/requirements, archive all data types during operation on projects and keep records of performed tasks. He has extensive experience in CATIA and Pro-E software.
ConnectD. Avdic is an expert in Solidworks and Autocad. He has been involved in the following activities:
– Designing all kinds of marine equipment (Knuckle Boom Cranes, Cable Winches, Troll
Winches, Fish Pumps, Krill Pumps, Hose Reels, Net Drums, Net Winches, etc.) in
Solidworks 3D and AutoCad
Patel has been drafting and designing since 2008. He has been actively involved in product development for a number of companies. The 3D models and simulations that he creates are further used to estimate actual weight and area of objects, lookout of objects and manufacturing time.
He has constructed 3D models and simulations for aircraft test equipment and test stands, models for aircraft and industrial load banks, packaging solutions for the pharma and pesticide industries, design drawings for food and dairy. He has fabricated drawings for brewery, cosmetics and all types of gear boxes, design models for industrial hoists and cranes, packaging solutions for hydroponic fodder systems and models for bellows expansion joints in cross country pipelines. He has produced drawings for heat exchangers, pressure vessels and tanks, hydraulic solutions, foundry and furnace industries and ceramic industries. Working as a CAD professional on these projects, he has gained confidence in his skill as a CAD engineer.
He feels that the projects he found most interesting and challenging were for:
His favorite tools are AutoCAD for 2D, SolidWorks for 3D, CreoFusion360 and Inventor.
According to Mr. Patel, there is an increasing demand for CAD-based projects that require 2D drafting, isometric drawings, schematic diagrams, 3D modelling, simulation, animation, surface modelling, sheet metal work, weldment, piping and routing and analysis.
He typically works remotely and communicates via email. He also uses Skype frequently and finds it very effective, although he says sometimes it’s difficult to handle troubleshooting on Skype due to file size and formatting limitations.
